my 4s is on 5.0 and had great battery life before jailbreak. it would last forever on 1% but after jailbreak it loses battery faster and it doesnt even reach 1% before it dies. hopefully this isnt permanent and it gets better after battery cycles
Unless you did nothing but jailbreak then you can't assess any causal relationships. Once you start installing JB apps analysis is easily pointless (see first response).its not terrible battery life its probably normal but before it was just really good and i notice the difference
Definitely not the Jailbreak itself more of the tweaks installed
So, mine appeared fine till today. 32gig AT&T iPhone 4S running 5.01.
Yesterday I installed:
1) CallBar
2) Music Controls Pro
3) Mail Enhancer
I left my house this morning at 6am. By 10:45am I was at 35%. Normally I'd be at 80% to 86% around the same time before jailbreaking. All I have done is use Pandora for my ride into work on the bus (about an hour). I have my phone sitting at my desk untouched since then aside from texting two or three times.
I am also running:
1) LockInfo
2) SB Settings (Duh!)
3) Winterboard
4) Infiniboard
5) 5 Icon Dock
6) Zephyr
7) BiteSMS
8) GridLock
9) iFile
Just curious if it's just me and trying to pinpoint what may be causing the battery drain.

Lock info and SB settings are huge battery killers. I ran Intellscreen X, had to pull it... Was killing my battery life
I have done extensive troubleshooting and I personally believe it's the jailbreak, but saying that on this site you may as well have committed murder!
