The battery on my MacBook Air M2 charges fine with the original apple magsafe charger.

With a brand new Anker 735 nano ii 65W charger and an Anker USB-C charging cable rated to 100W - the MacBook detects the power source but says "Battery not charging".

Anyone know why?

Go into System Information, Power and under AC adapter information - what does it say?

I had read elsewhere that if you have a game running then it won't charge from USB.

I quit Minecraft (loading stage) and then plugged in the USB and again "battery not charging".

However after about 5 minutes it changed to charging.

weird...
