Battery on iOS 16 beta Public 2 on Brand new iPhone 13 Pro

I’ve charged my phone last night until 100%, I took off the charger before I went to sleep. I get up at 6:30am and use my phone until midday, when it has 60% battery.
Actual use I can say it was like 1-2 hour max, because this is my work time.
I keep Wi-Fi and data on.

Is this how the battery is supposed to last on this iPhone?
I got it last week and updated to beta 16 right away, so I don’t have any parameters to compare with a stable version of the iOS.

I can only speak for my previous Xs, which I can definitely say the battery is lasting the same time if in comparison.

Do you guys really think this iOS version has battery issues? Or that it and my complaint is pointless?

It’s due to having beta software on your phone. I’ve got an 11 and battery’s around the same.
Once the final release is out it’ll be much better.

It's a beta. There will be bugs and there will be issues.

Battery life issues always seem to raise debates in beta's.

My phone gets crazy hot while using Safari and a few other apps. Burns through the battery too. Beta issues … still get through a day with the 13pro max

Indeed. Mine gets extra hot too sometimes without no reason.
I was also a little concerned because I tend to put my phone bellow the pillow during the night.

I just don’t wanna let go of the new home screen, it’s so nice the custom options they gave us.

Mine matches perfectly with the green case! Haha
