It feels like iOS 9 still skips percentage values, different ones though. I swear that 31% was skipped and 27% was skipped. However, I could be wrong. Anyone else notice anything or can you guys prove me wrong? I know I should just turn my battery percentage off blah blah blah but really. The fact that such a dumb bug exists in iOS bothers me quite a bit.

iOS 9 doesn't skip percentage like it used to in iOS 8 for me. (Screen shot from a little while back showing at 30% and not jumping from 31 to 29. iOS 8 would always skip 30, and a few other specific spots always going from x1 to x9.)

As I said in my original post, it feels like some of the skipped values changed. I know 31->29 was fixed but it seems like I experienced 32->30 and 28->26. I didn't actually see this happen with my own eyes so I could be wrong but I checked my phone (never unlocked it) to see the time and while I did that I noticed I was at 32%, just a minute later I got a text and I was at 30%. As I was using my phone it was draining quickly and I believe 27% was skipped too. Probably just normal inaccuracies with the battery meter but I'm just curious if someone else has experienced this or if it was all in my head.

My 5s is skipping 7-8% at one single time on this beta. It's just horrendous. I cannot believe this was released to the public as a beta. Phone is not even usable right now. Leave in the morning with 100% charge and after 2-3 hours with limited use I'm down to 30%. Never seen anything like this. Been using betas since iOS 7.

i skip none at all anymore when discharging

when CHARGING, it skips all the time it has a 0.5 second delay in updating the percent when u wake the screen if its been off for a few mins at a time where its gaining a bit more than a percent per min (ie: charging from wall or 1A+ usb port)

Oh stop. I was just curious if other people had a similar experience, I'm not saying iOS 9 is dreadful, unusable, etc because of this. I simply justified my bringing this up with "it bugs me that such a dumb bug possibly exists", because I knew people would go "I'm sorry I don't watch my percentage 24/7. Just turn your percentage off and get over it."

Is anyone still experiencing this? My iPhone suddenly went from 38% to 9%. The Low Power Mode popup came up, plugged it into a charger and a few minutes later it went up to 43%. What is going on?

That could mean something's going on with your battery.

You may need to re-calibrate the battery meter. Try doing a full discharge then a full, uninterrupted charge to 100% first. If that doesnt fix it, then make an appointment with Genius.
