Hi.

I got a Macbook Pro 15” Mid-2015 and recently got its battery replaced by a new 3rd party battery. I got 9 cycles on it and it’s showing 91% capacity plus/minus 2%. During the last few charging cycles I’ve noticed that the battery level jumps from around 84% to 100% while charging and back to 84% when I disconnect the charger. I’ve calibrated the battery 3 times and also reset SMC and PRAM multiple times.
What might cause this? Is it a bad battery or does it just require more charging cycles to sort itself out?

Thanks!

It sounds like a faulty battery to me.
