Hey guys, basically I am looking for an application that does something similar to what I get under Windows 7 and even linux....Because the power saving options on my 2012 13" MBP are pretty crappy (i.e almost non existant), I would like to find an app that can control my battery/performance a little better when running under OS X.
All it needs to do is have 3 modes; performance, balanced, and power saver for example. When I have it set to power saver it will do things like lock the Core i5 to a certain (lower) frequency to save power. Does anyone know of a decent OS X application with this functionality? Prefferably free and with a top menu bar applet for quick toggling between modes
