Battery problem

I just bought my macbook last week.
And now I left it on the power adapter during this weekend..
But I just notice it is only 99% charged after leaving 2days on power adapter..
Health: 98%
Cycle: 3
Charge: 99%

Is that normal??

I hope it's normal. I have never seen the battery percentage go to 100%.

Yup, I installed the battery update right before I first charge and calibrate my battery..
I hope it will fix after I discharged it down to 50% later next week...

Btw, if Im going to leave the power adapter on for like 3 days, show I take out the battery or leave it in?

I could be wrong, but I think your supposed to take the battery out if your going to leave your laptop plugged in for an extended period of time.

Yea.. I know that.. but how long is defined as extended period..
maybe over a week??

This is normal for all laptops with Lithium ion style batteries.

You also do not need to remove the battery if it is going to be plugged in for a extended period of time. This was true for older batteries but not Lithium ion.
