So I installed the 1.2 battery update and now the battery is acting strange. Before I applied the update I had about 80% capacity according to coconut battery. I installed it and now I have 93% and I just recalibrated it. I also noticed that the meter at the top is showing 97% charge and it says the "battery is charged" and the magsafe connector is showing a green light. I tried a pmu reset for the first time since I have had the laptop and it didn't seem to do anything.

My question is anyone else getting this problem? Is it something I should be concerned about and should I bring it in so they can swap out the battery? I am not sure how it has effected battery life, but I will see how long it lasts me in class on Tuesday.

FWIW, your Intel Mac won't charge the battery if you plug it in when it's at least 93% full...that prevents overcharging.

As for the unexpected increase in capacity even after calibration, that's a bit odd to me, but I haven't followed the battery update closely enough to know if that's strange or not.
