Battery Question

My iPhone seems to have no problems charging. My questions are:

- Can I leave the phone connected to the power brick for a few hours even if the battery has been fully charged (without damaging it)?

- If I use the phone while connected to a car charger or USB cable, does the battery gets damaged?

- If I re-charge the phone with 50% battery left, does the battery gets damaged?

1) You should be able to do that...most electronics now a days shut off the battery or whatever when it is charged.

(Most) modern batteries tend to last best if you use just "the top of the charge." (Not like the old batteries that you were supposed to discharge fully to avoid "memory effects.")

So charging your iPhone often in small amounts should be just fine.

When Apple refers to how many charge "cycles" you are expected to get, keep in mind that five 20% recharges still only equals ONE cycle. It's OK that you didn't do the cycle all in one shot.
