I am wondering if completely turning off the iPhone (which i do every night) affects this process.

Thanks

I charge my phone before i go to bed so i dont see any reason why to keep it on at night on airplane mode.

I also think that it clears the ram and rests the processors.

What do you guys think?

I don't turn mine off, I also don't put it in airplane mode. I just throw my phone on the charger.

I don't see the benefit in any of the "extra" things you are doing.

There's little reason to turn your phone off, or even put it on airplane mode, overnight.

Just use Do Not Disturb; that's what the feature is for. You can tell it to turn on automatically around bedtime and turn off around the time you wake up, then you never have to worry about being bothered in the middle of the night.

You can also put in exceptions for favorite contacts if you want family members to be able to reach you in an emergency.
