iPhone SE (2016) Battery replacement on an SE, even with 83%?

Hi,

I got a 16GB SE, for relatively little money (used).
Battery health is 83%. Does Apple even replace it for 29 at that point?

The phone is going to be used by my mother, probably for many years. 16GB should be OK for her.
Also, where she lives she has no access to an Apple Store of any kind, while I have two Stores 20km apart and a number of Authorized Service Centers in proximity.

Yes, you can get it replaced for $29 no matter what through the end of the year.

My wife got her SE battery replaced that had 91% health.
