Hi, I have an iPhone 7 which battery life was 73. I went to a technician who switched my battery a few weeks ago. After he switched the battery life still showed 73 and the percentages still dropped fast so today he came again and switched it again, the whole story happened again. He says that the battery is original and the problem is with the iPhone motherboard. I don’t know if I should believe him anymore and I don’t know what to do… what do you think? Please don’t tell me to just buy a new phone…

I had my 7+ battery replaced by an authorized Apple repair service who used a genuine Apple battery. After the replacement, the battery health was reset and returned to 100%.

Get Apple to replace the battery not a 3rd party. Not worth the hassle plus do you really want some "tech" to take apart your phone multiple times until he get a "good" battery? I'd say it's likely he'll damage something else eventually and blame it on the logic board too..

3rd party non OEM batteries do not always show up correctly on the battery health. This has happened to me twice with non Apple batteries.
