Okay, I bought a Macbook about 2-3 months ago. I always leave it plugged in. However, once the battery charges, it slowly goes down from 100% charge - 99 -98 - 97... and so on. So 3 days after the battery has been charged (plugged in for the whole 3 days) the charge level reaches 94% and has to charge again. Then the process begins again.
So my battery is slowly going through charge cycles, and it bothers me. It should run off of wall power when it's plugged in....

Any suggestions to fix the problem? Has anyone else had this problem?

I think it happens to me, but I don't really notice how it all plays out.

Once your battery is fully charged, your computer cuts off power to the battery so that you're not constantly giving the battery a little bit of juice to keep it at 100%. This helps prevent overcharging. I assume the decrease in percentage over time is just the natural loss of juice from the battery sitting idle while your computer runs off of the outlet. Once it drops low enough, the computer does kick in to recharge things, but not until it drops to 93% (95% for PPC machines).

i would think recalibrating the battery will work.
Let the battery run down then charge full. and repeat. Correct directions are on the apple site

Yes, but my battery health compared to factory health is 95%. I don't think that it's reasonable for the battery to lose 5 percent health from being plugged in constantly. But hey, oh well... who cares. As long as it's normal and not a defect in my machine.
