At best, it's probably only something Apple can answer.

I agree, it should start over when your battery is at 100%, similar to the usage stats. Or have a third tab, since last fully charged, 24 hours and 7 days. But the way I think of it, is at least Apple gave us the breakdown to begin with and the addition of time is nice too.

Yes, please a new tab for fully charged. I don't care how much I used the whole day since that includes sleep time.
While they're at it, remove 7 days. How is that useful?

Because Apple doesn't want you to witness your shiny new 6S having its battery butt handed to it by a 150 bob low range Android device. They want everyone wrapped up in the Usage myth. It comforts me in all honesty that I only compare to other iPhones whenever I can be bothered to check.

Useful for more overall trends to know how much you use certain apps and how much of an effect they have on your battery.

I still think a usage trend would be more useful because I only care about what I use from fully charged, not what I used yesterday. My usage varies wildly.

Exactly. What good is 'Safari 16 hours on screen' when I've charged twice during that period. It tells me nothing.

Woah 16 hours on Safari. Apple really does control your life :)
Yeah thats what I'm saying. I want to be able to correlate the times with my current charge cycle.

From fully charged would be useful. I was just pointing out that the 7 day one can be useful for some in some ways as well.

Why oh why aren't the app screen-on times per charge cycle rather than the pretty useless last 24 hours? What good is that, and why can't we at least reset them to get the 'per charge cycle' functionality, albeit manually?

Agreed. I've wondered the same thing.
