I watched the keynote but had to take a couple of phone calls so I missed a couple of minutes. Did they talk about a bigger/better battery? I saw they were bragging about making it smaller, thinner.

Leave the size alone and put in a bigger battery.

Anyone noticed this at the Apple event?

Anyone noticed Apple didn’t mention about battery life at all for the iPhones? It just says ‘Great’ on the chart. Typically, even if phone has the same amount of battery life, Apple will make it a point where they packed in all these new features and still have same XX hours as last year model...

Nope, rumors is that they will have smaller battery’s than last year. Not even a mention of 1 hour more, expect it to be same or probably worst than last year. 4000-5000mAh should be the norm for flagship 2020 not in 2022.
