Battery time remaining missing on M1?

I'm in love with the new M1 Macbook Air but noticed my battery time is missing. It does show on the "Energy" tab on the activity monitor. Is this a bug or feature?

Yeah but, IIRC, it was introduced back in Big Sur, or at least, in some beta.

It still isn't working 100% on M1 Macs. It still tells me to check my battery even though the health is 100%.

You can still see it in the activity monitor under battery... there is a time remaining counter.
