Battery Time Remaining

Did Apple take away battery time remaining in the final build of Big Sur? I remember it initially being a “new“ feature to Big Sur. Just bought a m1 MacBook Air and it’s not providing any estimates. Is this a bug?
 
I think it hides in the Dock settings, scroll down to battery and click Show Percentage ! Done!
 
I am looking for time remaining though, ie. 8 hours, 30min etc. Like it was back in 2017 before apple took it away! I am currently just using menubar stats as a workaround.
