Hi all -
Could anyone tell me if this seems like my battery is dying faster than it should? It doesn't seem to be part of the battery recall group, but it certainly doesn't seem to last as long as it first did.

Battery Information:

Battery Installed: Yes
First low level warning: No
Full Charge Capacity (mAh): 2354
Remaining Capacity (mAh): 94
Amperage (mA): 3240
Voltage (mV): 12330
Cycle Count: 51

Thanks!
- Quil

Over time your battery won't be able to hold as much charge as it used to.

There is only a set amount of charge/discharge cycles a battery can do before it is dud.

Seeing as you have a 1st generation MBP then I'd be happy with getting anything between 1.5 and 2 hours.

Have you calibrated your battery recently?

AppleCare is your friend. Mine was acting strange the other day, called AppleCare, and I have a new one on the way. Mine has been showing a negative number in the amperage, which I thought was weird. Anyway, good luck.

Dropped by applestore, showed them my system profiler, and had a new battery after a couple signatures. Hooray!

Thanks for the comments.
