Howdy,
I have a 2nd Gen Macbook and im starting to notice that the battery is not flush with the bottom of the computer at the ends.

The closest Apple store is about 2 hours away,
Should I get the battery replaced?
I heard that apple is replacing the battery no questions asked.
I dont know if im just over reacting here, or if there is a real problem.

If I have to get a replacement battery over the phone, will I have to send in the macbook battery first, or will apple ship me the new battery first?

Thanks,
Me1000

They are only replacing if there is a recall, if you bring it to a repair shop they can tell you if it will be replaced. If they do replace it they should send the new battery out first then ask for the old one back.

My MacBook is doing the exact same thing. What ended up hapening? Did they send you a replacement battery?
