Hello, I have a mid 2005 iBook, and the power brick recently caught on fire. The old adapter was 45w, but Apple doesn't make them anymore, so I had to get a 65w adapter. I called Apple, and they told me that it should work fine. I received it yesterday, but now the battery won't stop charging at 100%. It continues to stay warm after it should stop charging, and I am worried that it will catch on fire if I leave it plugged in. So for the moment, I have just taken the battery out. Has anyone ever had this problem before, or know what I can do to correct it?

Thanks

Does no one know? Should I be asking this in the OS X forum instead since it could be a software issue?

Thanks
