hello, I just got a 3g and am tryxing to figure out a way to conserve battery life at night while I sleep. I turn off the wireless and the pushing and fetching features yet I still wake up with the 10% battery warning. I am hesitant to leave it plugged in for fearnthat it drain the battery faster in the long term. Also I use the alarm feature to wake up...but as far as I know that's the only thing running in the backgroung.

Turn off location services. That used to eat my battery on my "2G" or as I like to call it the "OG".
:)

Leaving it plugged in over night will cause you no harm.

Do not let it get to the red before topping it off.

Only let it go completely dead like once a month.

This is what I have been told by many folks.
