battle field 3

this is my graphics card.
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB

someone on another forum told me i can't run it cause its not nivida or some other kind of graphics card :( is this correct?

It just doesn't give enough juice. It's an integrated graphic card. Battlefield 3 require a powerful graphic card. Even the Integrated Nvidia like Nvidia Geforce 320M in Macbook Pro 2010 and Macbook air 2010 couldn't deliver enough power to have a constant minimum 30 fps.

This makes me sad :( does anyone know of a good game such as battle field 3, it looks so great and i really wish to play it, is there anything around just like that game by any chance? i looked at crisis 2 but idk if i can play that but its kinda like cod but can go invisible
 
you won't be able to play almost all modern day games with that graphics card so don't bother wasting time to find one.
 
Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3 should work fine. Modern Warfare at fairly high settings but the other two most likely at medium and low.
 
ok well thanks for wrecking my life man. i went on can i run it agian and saw if i can run battlefield 2142 and it said no, but yet i downloaded it the other day played it just find just unistalled cause its a glitchy game and no one really plays it no more, also im sure i can play battlefield bad company 2 if i just put it on low, and why must you think i cant play any modern games now ive played battle field 2 on here and 2142 just 3 is brand new and really good same with crysis 2
 
The HD3000 simply doesn't have the oomph to run anything at a decent framerate while maintaining a high resolution and decent graphics. If you wanted a gaming machine you shouldn't have bought a MacBook.

idk if this is true cause it said the same thing for bf2142 and it ran just fine on my mac book? so why cant i just put the game on low and rip it up
 
Battlefield 2142 is an old game, and sites such as Can I Run It? aren't known for their accuracy in the first place. If you want something useful take a look at Anandtech or Tom's Hardware.
 
Nvidia 330M GT on MBP will run BF3 on low graphics with decent FPS. Tested on my computer and works well.
