Greetings,
You'll have to forgive me with my ignorance of all things mac. I got fed up with pc's recently and bought a macbook pro. I picked up battlefield 2142 and have been nothing but frustrated with it.
For the few minutes the game works it looks awesome. I've even managed to jump up a rank or two. However shortly after starting a round it crashes. I say shortly but sometimes it will wait until the end of the round and crash. It does this in both single and multiplayer mode. I've done my best to isolate the problem but I haven't been able to figure out what is causing this problem. I've ended all of the processes in "my processes" in the activity monitor that didn't need to be running. I've connected it directly to my router instead of using it over wifi (i'm using an airport extreme base station). The time I ran it directly connected to the router it ran the best (and yes, all the required ports have been opened).
Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem? I've scoured the internet and haven't been able to find anything. If you need me to post a crash log just tell me where I can find them and I'll post them and remember, I'm new to macs.
Thanks for any help you can give me!
