Battlefield 2142 patches

hey ive been trying for a while to get the 1.4 patch for mac battlefield 2142 but cant seem to be able to get it. i did the read me thing and it said i had version 1.25? i don't really know what to do. ive tried downloading the 1.4 patch from the battlefield website but its not seeming to work. do any of you know if maybe you have to get the patches in between first?. please give any suggestions. thanks

As far as I know, there is only one patch available for the Mac version of 2142 and that is 1.40.

When I got the game, I updated straight to 1.40 with no problems.
