I am certainly not an expert but since no one has answered you....

Have you tried simply dragging the game from your applications folder to the external drive on your desktop? Then hold option when you load the game and choose where it runs from. I may be way off here...

I mean how to do bootcamp on external drive therefore install the game on external drive.
