God I hate this font, why is...it...everywhere...ARgh everytime i see it I get sick to my stomach, on buildings on trucks...in movies on TV shows. Is it just me?
Yes yes i know...there are no ugly fonts, If they are used in the right design and appropriately...but really that font is way overused.
 
I can't say I've really seen it being overused, so I actually don't mind it. The only place I can think of it being used is by a clothing brand called "Bauhaus" (funnily enough). They make cool clothes. :)
 
Really i notice it everywhere now...on posters...on crappy menus. logos, that "shalom in the home" show. that other show that's on right after back to back with the shalom show ,The Brick logo, that other garage across the street. argh it's sofocating me!
I like Futura.

Come off it! You can't have a go at bauhaus being everywhere and then say you like Futura!

P.S. It's 'suffocating'
 
I don't agree that it's overused, but I do think that's it's unattractive. It's on the border of hard to read. Futura is overused, and it bugs me. Also, futura's question mark irritates me.

ditto on Bauhaus, though I rather like Futura...just my personal preference.
 
I think it's ok that Futura and Helvetica are "overused" they're the vanilla ,plain typefaces you know, it's what you use when you don't want to draw attention to the font in a particular design. The question mark in Futura is annoying thought.
