Well I bought my 94360CD as a complete kit from OSX WiFi but they might be able to sell the required cables separately?

OSX WiFi Accessories

Not sure where you're based but generally eBay might be worth a punt;

eBay UK

Hope that helps?

Search a bit - there is a dedicated thread on Continuity & Handoff. This post should provide what you need - #740

Glad you're all up & running Matty...it's a worthwhile upgrade isn't it. Did you need to use an additional Bluetooth antenna as occasionally my trackpad will judder & drop connection for just a few seconds.

Do you have Hand-Off & Continuity all working correctly?

Reason I ask is mine works well here most of the time with Notes, Reminders, Safari etc. on iPhone usually popping up on the left of the Dock and being able to use Apple Watch Unlock although that can be a bit hit & miss.

Not sure about Instant Hotspot although System Report does say it is supported.

Not sure what MacOS you are using but I never got Continuity Camera working on Mojave. Notes, Pages etc. give me the option to Insert from iPhone, it recognises the model of my iPhone, I take the photo but then @10 seconds later I get a popup saying;

Could not import from iPhone 11
The device timed out

Not that I would ever use it much but if it should work then it should work.

And also for those who might stumble across your thread in future with the same problem what was the solution to the cable you were looking for?

Thanks & kind regards,

And as if by magic that's just started working now!

Trying to find the bluetooth antenna wire for my 2012 5,1
The 1st pic shows the connector in my 5,1.
The 2nd pic shows what I have for the bluetooth antenna connectors
The 3rd pic show my connectors on the original board which is the same as the new card.
One end of the antenna cable I have for the bluetooth (2nd pic) will not connect to the board (old or new).
I really don't know which is female or male.The cable on the right of the 2nd pic will connect to either card, the round connector (2nd pic - cable on right) will not connect to either card.
My original machine cable appears to have a white plastic insert and I cannot find a cable to match it.
Does someone have a link to this cable to fit the BCM connector and the Bluetooth connector.
The bluetooth board connector is the same as wifi connectors.
I hope I explained this ok, so any questions, please let me know.
Thanks

Matty's cable is the same as mine (post 8) but will not connect to my card. Now I'm wondering if I have a bad (imitation) card. Also, with this new card 360CD, Catalina goes on line instantly, Monterey (OCLP) won't connect.

The picture of the wi/fi card does not look like a BCM94360CD. That card will have 4 antenna connections and should have labeling that it is a BCM94360CD. The bluetooth antenna wire should come from the old bluetooth module at a different location on the board. I believe it goes on J3 of wi/fi card. The reverse-polarity antenna wire is usually seen on antenna extensions.

No that is not the new card, it is the original 5,1 that came with the cMP. I was only showing the wire connectors on the old board for reference, which are same as the BCM94360CD, which does have the 4 connectors. If you look at pic 1, the connectors 1,2,3 all have what appears to be a white plastic insert. The bluetooth antenna wire in pic 2 doesn't have that and will not connect to the new BCM94360CD card or at least I can't get it to. Both look like male connectors or I'm doing something. wrong, which would not surprise me. But everyone seems to be using this same BT cable, so it must be dummy me.
Thank you for your reply.

I can only say that when I put a BCM94360CD in my MP4.1/5,1 there were 3 antenna wires with number labels and the bluetooth antenna wire from the old module. It was long enough to reach the new card. I did not have any reverse connector polarity on any wires. Maybe can fix with a female to female wire or replace with a wire to an external antenna.

Yes I have the 3 antenna wires. Only 2 were used on the old card. Will check tomorrow to see if the BT wire is long enough to reach the WiFi card but I don't think it will. Haven't seen or heard anyone using the existing BT wire, but again, could be wrong. If your BT cable reached the news WiFi card what went to the BT card connector? Maybe I'm not reading it right.

When I did this originally I removed the antenna from the bluetooth module and used it on J3 of the wifi card. I removed the USB jumper on the old bluetooth module and used the PC connector with the USB connector from the adapter card.

I have seen kits for this change-out that include a separate antenna wire to an external antenna for bluetooth. Their claim was that the existing antenna was poor performance. I bought the parts to do this myself and it seems to work adequately.

Look at my 5,1 this morning and this is the total length of my BT cable. Don't know how yours managed to reach the BCM card but that's great. I just ordered 2 female to female 16" cables. Hopefully this will work with those.
Thanks for your time and expertise.
