Be careful about iOS 4.2 on iPad.

I just updated to iOS 4.2 and I had a big issue. It is not really anyone's fault and the GM build is very solid. But, I just had an unexpected problem.
itunes 10.0.1 will not sync with iOS 4.2, period. Once you unplug it, your iPad's video and iPad will show error message saying, "Sync"

Bottom line, you will not be able to use your video and ipod app on your ipad. If you upgrade your iPad to iOS 4.2, then I suggest you wait or find a way to get itunes 10.1.

Just heads up for those of you who are upgrading or thinking about upgrading.

Ugh yeah you need iTunes 10.1. The windows version is very buggy I find

You can find the iTunes 10.1B with a Google search, I know someone linked to it in the comments of the engadget article. I've updated to the GM and all is well with my iPad. Cheers.
