Beach Ball w/ ML

Ever since my upgrade to ML + fresh install after the upgrade kept having issues I've had the beach ball show up with just about every single application I open or when I change tabs / windows. Also seeing a ton of slow speeds, wi-fi constantly dropping, startup increased by 15 seconds and lag is the best way I can think to say it.

I've attempted every fix recommended in the forums and by CJStudios to no avail. Maybe it's because I don't have an ssd...

Press cmd space to open Spotlight search. See if says that it is Estimating Index Time. If it is, see my thread in this forum with the title Estimating Index Time. What you are describing is exactly my experience after upgrading to ML.

Not Indexing, did that for 4 hours 2 days ago. sigh sucks.
