Hi, I am using MacOS Big Sur 1.4. For the past few weeks, Safari is very slow due to beachball. This happens often when I type url. Sometimes I hit a key and beachball shows up for a few seconds before I can type the rest. Sometimes after typing 3-4 letters and beachball shows up. I need to wait before I can type the rest. What could be the problem and how to fix it?

Try turning off (disabling) all of Safari's suggestion features.

Thanks. After turning off everything in Safari > Preferences > Search, it became much faster. It is like a new machine!

How come sometimes I still see beachball when using Safari? Is there anything else that I can do?

Perhaps a stupid question but is the beach ball multi coloured or blue? sometimes I get a blue looking one.

Now it is getting worse day by day again. What could be the reason?
