Hi guys, I've been looking at the Bear app and started testing it out today. If any of you been running with it for a while, would you be able to share your experiences with it?

Thanks!

I tried it for about a month, but I just didn't get on with it. I suspect it's just overkill for my needs (which is usually a shopping list) plus the updates in the stock app mean that it's more than capable for my needs

I can see why Notes would be fine in your case and I'd agree with your approach - no need to pay for a service where an adequate and free tool is avaialable.

I need it as a OneNote or Evernote alternative. Notes is a little too basic for my needs and the above two just don't agree with me...
