I'm looking to buy a new 15" MBP sometime after OS X Leopard comes out. What is the likelihood of Apple adopting the Bearlake chipset by then or the end of the year, and if so, will they use DDR3 memory?

Would the bearlake chipset have to do anything with this? :

I like this part:
"Intel noted that it will be offering a 'battery friendly' quad-core processor for notebooks next year."

I need to just freak'n buy and quit reading about this stuff....other wise I think I'll always be waiting :(

If you mean sometime soon, being about this time next year to Christmas 2008.
