just a little query, does Beats 1 play any guitar music? All I hear is Urban music.

What about bands that play rock n roll / guitar music, is still popular music with "the kids" or am I outside the demographic of Beats 1?

Also missing guitar music - however, was pleasantly surprised when I tuned in and heard Courtney Barnett's "Pedestrian At Best" (great artist, great song) Overall, much too less guitar music nevertheless - disappointed when it comes to my personal taste. St. Vincent's first Mixtape Show however was nice, looking forward to the next episodes. No real guitar music either, but good songs nevertheless. Hip Hop, on the other hand, evokes exactly zero feelings inside of me.

I've heard a fair amount of guitar music. They did play AC/DC "For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)" on launch day, and there has been some guitar based stuff since, though more indie leaning.

Listen to the Josh Homme Alligator hour. He plays good guitar stuff. He is the front man for Queens of the Stone age after all.
