Beats and Apple, will the Beats brand eventually disappear?

The Apple brand and Beats brand seem different and incongruous to me but maybe that's just me.

If you had to guess, or you had wishes, would you like to see the Beats brands eventually be completely absorbed by Apple and disappear?

I would definitely be interested in seeing Apple release a high end set of headphones under the design authority of Jon Ive. And a sound signature that actually matches Apples design philosophy as opposed to the current Beats headphones with bloated bass, plastic construction, and ostentatious design.

People clearly like them. And buy them in droves.

Keeping the beats brand around is a good idea for that reason as they can still shovel out the stuff you think is "incongruous with apples brand".

I think they will keep it as a separate brand, I suppose many people are not even aware that they are part of Apple now. So even Apple haters will buy them. I think they could at some point use them to get people to subscribe to Apple Music through promotions somehow.

They certainly aren't popular with the audiophile crowd so it's easy to forget that yeah, people love these and buy them.

I would still like to see Apple create a high end headphone with quality construction but I suppose the Beats brand is here to stay for the foreseeable future.
