Am I missing something, or are these Beats Solo 3's defective? When I plug in a 3.5mm audio cable (tried two) the Beats will not turn on. If they are already on, they turn off upon inserting the plug. They are brand new. (They don't come with their own cable.) This happens whether or not the cord has the third mic line, and whether or not the other end is plugged into the computer. (They sound great through Bluetooth, but it's not the high speed Bluetooth, so there is a delay, and that's not good with gaming.)
