Beats Solo Pro battery replacement

Has anyone had the battery replacement service done before, specifically on Beats Solo Pro, but broadly on any Beats headphones?

My Solo Pro are no where near 40 hours, and a service for battery is £95 via Apple. Wondering if it’s worth it.

I’ve seen some YT vids like

Which seem a little more complicated than I’d like with unsoldering etc.

If you send them to Apple so they actually do this and replace the battery, or just send you a refurb pair instead?
