Beats Solo Pro seems to be a nice addition to the line up...and very intuitive

I had the wired Solo and now have the wireless. I’ll be adding these for the ANC. Been wanting exactly these for travel.

Ordered and excited to get them this week; I’m just nervous about comfort. I’ll give it the full 2 weeks. Over ears are definitely better but get bulky for day to day use like commuting (Not to mention hotter). Been waiting for an H1 ANC headphone; powerbeats are fantastic for the gym and airpods for casual at home use but ANC for travel would be great.

Mine arrived today. My head is pretty large and these guys barely fit. I love the sound, though. Huge improvement over previous beats. If only now they updated the Studios because these Solos are not super comfortable.

I received mine also. FWIW my hat size is 7 1/2 so I believe that would be considered large. I haven’t worn them for a long period yet, but the initial takeaway was that they were comfortable. The sound was great. I love music, listen all day long when I can, but I am not a stickler on the sound quality. I appreciate good quality but I have never owned a bad pair of headphones. I got the dark blue and really like the color. Especially on the metal when I extend the earcup. This is the first time I have ever purchased a color other than black. Love the lightning connector. I despise microUSB. All in all, very happy to have them. My previous pair was Beats Solo 3.

Can anyone with these tell me if they turn off when a lightning cable/adapter is plugged in to a 3.5 jack. Trying to decide if I want these or save money and get the Solo 3s because I use them wired a lot on my PS4 and I'd hate to have them running down the battery when I was using wired audio.

I agree. I actually returned mine for the AirPods pro because I was afraid it might sell out. Going to get another in a few days but I felt it was a bit too small

I'll be honest, I'm still not convinced by Apple's ANC technology. It just seems to let way too much through for my taste.

I have a work trip next week. The Solo Pros fit barely and aren't super comfortable. The Studios don't sound as good. I have a pair of B&Os but they're not great for traveling (they don't fold).

I'd love to ditch the Solos due to how they feel after an hour of use, but as you said the Studios don't sound nearly as good. I wish they'd adopt the Solo's sound signature.

Exactly. I love the way beats look and the easy pairing but the solos are a little tight.

Returned my Solo Pros, AirPod pros do the job much more compactly and comfortably and only do two long haul flights a year so battery is not an issue for me

Hows people the comfort factor when wearing Solo Pro's? Every review I have read mentions that they are too tight a fit and therefore uncomfortable to wear.

That's a common problem for "Over ear" headphones. I have a size 7 3/4 head (which is pretty huge) and I have to stretch them all the way. Luckily, the pads are more comfortable than the previous generation and I didn't really have a problem until I had them on for several hours.

Still hoping for Studio Pros soon, though.

I returned them the minute I got them in the mail and got the AirPod pros. They are tight and it just so happened I got the Bower And Wilkins PX5 to review anyways when I purchased these so I have another pair of on ears with ANC anyways. Those are kind of the opposite where I wish it had a tad bit more clamping force but it’s super light so it’s comfortable. ANC is about the same but the SQ is way better.

I would of kept the Beats solo pros because the SQ profile is pretty fun and I like the colors. But they are too tight and a tad small. Maybe when they are on sale I’ll give them a longer try but for $300 I’ll rather just get the AirPod pros with Apple care and save $23.90 after sales tax

Considering getting these for my wife, anyone have any longer ownership experience? How is it after a few months? Her current ones are the first solo from 2016
