I have had the AirPods and liked them, just after listening to them for a while they would start to hurt my ears. I really like the truly wireless part of them and the charging case factor. I have been debating buying a pair of these back

Now that the beats x are out I have been very intrigued with them. Being a smaller guy I have concerns about the wire length of then (as people have been complaining about the wire length already). I have watched reviews and have seen that it isn't a great bass and whatnot which I'm not too concerned about.

Lastly the jaybord x3, I have started looking in to them since they are he cheapest, but since seeing the reviews I am not too keen on the whole having a whole extra wire just to charge the headphones.

So from other members, who have used some of if not all 3, I just wanted to see what everyone thinks is the best option out there?

Add Bose spundsport wireless to your list. Sounds better than all of the above.

I own the Airpods. They are outstanding with battery life and stability inside the ear. The sound is good, but not superior over the Jaybirds. The Beats X and Airpods have the W1 Chip, which is makes them a clear winner for me. And I do like the Beats X for running with the security of the Strap. Both the Airpods and Beats X need improvement with water resistance though, which they are not rated.

I have the x2, never heard the x3 but the sound quality is probably close to the same. Pretty comfortable but I found myself having to adjust them in my ears from time to time. The isolation was pretty good. Sound is good, not great.

The Airpods are great for portability, just slip them in the case and one has easy storage and also gets them charged. They don't isolate sound and are apt to fall out of one's ears. The sound is rather meh.

The Beats X which I have sounds better than both of those. They are lightweight, have very good isolation, and I dare say they will not fall out.

I go with the Beats first over the x3 since you know what the Airpods are all about. Easily returnable just like the others are just in case the wires become a nuisance, really the only drawback but not a problem for me.

Thank you for the post. They will mainly just be worn for walking around campus and some days at work. So shouldn't have to worry about sweat resistance.

I think my ears are just to small and that's why the AirPods hurt them after a while?

True. They do look ridiculous. Ok for gym but maybe not out and about.
Appreciate he posts. Think I'm leaning towards the beats!

Ended up getting a pair of the blue beats x yesterday!
Thank you guys

Hey what do you think of the Beats X now that you've had them for awhile? I'm going to grab some this weekend and want to know if I should.. Would you choose another colour? I'm thinking white but blue or grey also sounds awesome.

I got the blue but wish I had gotten the grey ones. But overall I'm more of a fan of the over the ear headphones and sold them a while back and got the bose quiet comfort.
The beats were awesome and great to use but in ear headphones just start to hurt my ears after a while of using them..
