Bedtime alarm goes off but no sound

Since installing iOS14 the bedtime alarm will go off on my phone and Apple Watch (which I am NOT wearing) without sound.
I've tried turning the alarm on/off, rebooting phone, checking settings (sounds/haptics). Some days the alarm sound will work, most days it doesn't.

You might want to try Reset All Settings to see if that resolves the sound issue.

Reviving an old thread because I am having a problem with this on my new iPhone 12. So far everyday but one it hasn't worked. You can see it going off but there is no sound. The only day it worked I set the alarm also 10 minutes later. Today I was late to work because I thought it would work now since it worked the day before. I have followed every step I have found online like restarting etc. I need this to work, anyone have any ideas.

I turned off do not disturb and it worked fine.

I am also having this problem with my 11 phone. 2 days now we woke up late and my son was late for school. So frustrating!
