Seems they've implemented some piracy prevention that is buggy. Emailed support about it.

Note: This happened to me even though I've never used a pirated copy of Beejive.

Search the net for solutions - people are saying there is one.

If you did buy it, just contact their support and prove, with a reciept, that you did buy it.

I find it hilarious - this war between developers and crackers.

What really annoyed me about this app was that they wrote "Only $15.99!" in their advert - ****ing idiots.

Beejive was worth every penny I spent for it, still the best made app I own. IMO only 15.99 is appropriate in this case.

No it isnt. The useful difference between IM+ and BeeJive is

being able to change your dp/name/pm
being able to block/unblock contacts and change their nick name
the rest of is just show. everyone has a poorly implemented push service these days

After a period of actaully using IM apps, you realise that all you really need is an messenger which you can use to talk to your contacts.

Combine IM+ Lite with backgrounder - FREE - is good enough for me. I do have a computer where I make the changes I want.
