Before I get to the issue I'm having let me preface it by saying that I am aware of how outdated and obsolete Beejive IM is compared to modern messaging applications and truthfully I would have no further need for the app were it not for iOS 11's app-killing attribute.

Be that as it may, I realize I will soon lose access to the chat logs within the app that span many years. All these great memories will be lost once I upgrade to the new iOS. I've tried emailing the chat logs to myself but some chats in particular cause the app to crash and so therefore make it impossible to extract and send.

I'm left now to scour the internet for a possible solution to my problem. Perhaps someone more savvy than me and can direct me to a program or app that can view or extract the chat log from the app data?

I think you are going to be out of luck unless you don't mind jailbreaking the phone to see if you "browse" to where the log files are kept (assuming they are not encrypted)
