Hey there everyone,
I was wondering when on AIM on the beejive application if it uses your texts (I only have 200) or if it uses the unlimited data? I have heard a mix from asking the people i know. I am kind of scared to use it since I know if I go on, I will be going over my 200 texts for sure (if it uses my texts), which is why I have not been going on. Thanks in advance.

It most definitely does not affect your SMS count. It's the internet. You are on the internet sending messages through a proprietary IM service called AIM.

Being that it's Beejive, you could be on another network, but still no SMS. I actually prefer FlickIM. Looks much cleaner and iPhone-ish

flickIN dies media too??

Are there any sort of security safety concerns with say Beejive or Meebo or other chat sites? Seems like a fairly decent alternative to iChat for the time being.

weigh beejive yes, I wouldn't use meebo with iphone, doesn't work so well, especially compared to all these other ones

I haven't tried any of these chat web apps but you can always see if it does use sms by going on your att wirless account.

EDIT:
Do I have to pay anything to use this service?
No! FlickIM is an entirely free application! With an unlimited data package, AT&T will not charge for sending and receiving instant messages as well

I'm gonna assume you are having typing issues, since you are making no sense. I don't think FlickIM or FlickIN for that matter can die since it is not alive, and if by media you mean send IMs, then yes it does.

:D Sorry, i was on the iphone and it was really early and i guess i didnt realize that's what i was typing...:(

No worries m8. Late night forum posting can lead to the loss of home row.

EDIT: although if by on the phone you meant iPhone then I understand how such typing errors can arise and let me say I'm impressed with your multitasking skills.
