$12.99 in Australia.
Still not worth it when I can get something that does the same thing for free.
Just how long do you think Palringo can keep offering an application AND a service absolutely for free? Beejive already have their revenue model worked out...
Why won't you just jailbreak ya'll phone and then you could have "push." Its a program in Cydia called Backgrounder. Works perfect and is the same as push.
When I last used the "Backgrounder" application, I found that while battery life was fine, it just wasn't an application that worked very well with the programs I attempted to use it with. It may have just been a conflict on my iPhone so I cannot say that what I found will be true for everyone. That kills your battery.
palringo has an update submitted that does all this, oops someone already said this =]There's a free IM app that keeps you logged on at all times, does email push notifications and logs your chats?

well anyway, I'm really thinkin' of getting this, but not sure if it's worth 10 bucks, look what else I could get for 10 bucks

I was seriously thinking about buying Beejive now, especially since it's been cut down to £5.99 in the UK. But since Palringo annonced the new version, I'd thought I wait

I sprung for BeeJive at £5.99. The UI is excellent, and they have the option of 24 hours of connection now rather than when the servers have been increased to handle the traffic, as Palringo are doing.
Don't get me wrong, Palringo is a great app, but IMO, £5.99 is a steal for BeeJive.
Hmmmmmm .... Got me seriously double minded at the moment, should I or shouldn't I? Quick question, can you choose what email address you want noficications to be sent to?
Thanks

I'd say go for it. Yes you also can choose what address the notifications are sent to.
As I think everyone who bought it, along with me, while at $15.99/£9.99 will agree - it was worth the dosh.
At $9.99/£5.99? - Why are you still here reading this!! It's a complete bargain.
