I know this sounds a bit OCD but this is the first time i have used screen protectors and i have been through a few different brands and makes and finally settled on the spigen ones.

I have been through so many due to poor quiality ones, bad alignmment and one broke. Will the constant removal of the protectors and subsequent cleaning of the screen before applying the new protectors cause any issue

have you tried Power Support? Best one Ive ever found. Made in Japan. I have one on my 6s for 4 years and still looks good.

This may sound like an advertisement but I've found that Spigens tempered glass screen protectors are the best quality for their price. I've consistently had great results from using them, whether it be on phones or on my handheld gaming devices.

Also when applying screen protectors make sure you have some canned air on hand, it's super helpful to use right before you apply the protector.

Just struck me that you said 14 in your topic. A decent quality one costs about 15 euros per piece in the netherlands, so you spent what, 200 euros give or take on protectors and wasted them all?

I have installed 3 different ones. No issues with fit, and all were for 2018 iphones. One had nearly no oleophobic coating, and one was not 3D. Last one was just fine.

Hahah not worried about the oleophobic coating. Had a screen protector on for a few weeks now.

I meant the protector did not have any oleophobic coating. It is something you should be concerned about.

My protector is fine. If you refer to the actual coasting on the screen then I’m not worried as I use a screen protector.

I had a phone repair person tell me one time that taking the screen protector off a lot can cause the screen to be pulled back slightly from the phone causing separation. Don’t know if that is true but is what I was told.

Not true. If that were the case, Apple would not sell screen protectors and beam all screen issues on them.

Ok, you are applying dozens of screen protectors to protect the coating and the screen itself and worrying about the possible damage of the coating. What do you need the coating for, if it is covered by a piece of glass?
