Hi masters, i've been using new mba 13 with 4 ram for almost 2 weeks now everything was just fine. However today I firstly experience the black-out screen while I was using MSN messenger trying to add an smiley in it. I could do nothing but force to shut down...

Is it the known issue for MBA and I can go to the apple store to get a new one? (I bought it from a store).

Please help...today's black screen was just like a rat **** in a good soup...i really felt bad...

This just happen to me not long ago, but I had the macbook lid close and the screen wouldn't turn on. I had close the lid and open it a few times then it came back on.

Only incident I've had. But I believe it won't happen again. I think it's different from what happened to you. I just think the MacBook air was confused for awhile because the lid close and opened a few times when I showed it to a cousin and I guess it made the MacBook Air ballistic.

I heard that some batches of new MBAs have the screen or display problem which will show blue, yellow or other type of bad screen. Some of the effected users got replacement from either store or online helpline. I just wonder if I should book an appointment to get my MBA replaced...

if the store isn't too far from your place, i'd schedule an appointment to have a thorough diagnostic performed and if anything comes up, get it replaced. otherwise, if the issue happens even one more time, get it replaced.

i had weird white lines appear on my MBA 13" the second day i had it, but they only appeared once, went away when i closed and re-opened the lid, and haven't happened again since. had it for almost 3 weeks now. i'm keeping an eye on it though.
