Beep on restart or shutdown

I am running OS X 10.8.5 on a 2010 Mac Pro and it beeps (Funk) a single time on either shutdown or restart. Nothing else odd, just a nuisance. Can't figure out if it's an extension or what causing it.

Try looking in the Console log and scroll to the exact time and date of the beep and see if that gives you any clues to what it might be.
