Hey all,

Before I go and swap for 4th iphone what do you all think about this. I was on vacation for the last 10 days, On a cruise, no cell-sites or communication and far out from civilization. When I came back, my phone would no longer make phone calls. It will get them and be able to get txts however outgoing calls will not work, internet however does. I swapped the sim card into another phone for now. The att rep. said he had no idea and said it is 100% weird considering the phone was working prior to being left in a safe for 10 days. I tried restoring the phone 3 times varies different methods, the phone was not jailbroken nor tampered with in anyway (Good ol' vanilla.) Any ideas??

I restored as new phone each and every time. My important Info. Is on an exchange server so I dont care nor need backups. The ironic is my friends iphone lost all his information as well but his phone is good as new after restoring and restoring backup. Must be the force of the bermuda triangle.

if the phone's a keeper ( no other defects ) I suggest you go to AT&T first and see if they know anything about the issue, if not.. a swap looks to be necessary..

I was on the phone with ATT for an hour and a half with a determined rep to help me in my issue (He was very helpful and nice.) after troubleshooting he gave me the case number in which he said I can take with me to apple to prove that I ran through trouble shooting procedures. Hopefully I get a swap no problem. To bad it's a REFURB.... Yuck.
