I'm running a jailbroke 1.1.4. before I Quickpwn
1. do I install firmware 2.0.2 on my iPhone?
2. update iTunes?

also, my main computer is a Mac, but I have a PC, so is it ok to use it for Quickpwn even though I sync with my PowerBook?

Thank!

Im going to try this tonight when I get home.
Im still on jailbroken 1.1.4 too, and dont need it unlocked since Im on AT&T already.

Cool - let me know how it goes. I'm reading the guides, but it doesn't sound as easy as when I did my original 1.1.4 jailbreak.

Yep very simple. Go for it brguest!

Yeah, it seems real simple, until you hit the obstacle I did. Freaking quickpwn wouldn't even run on any of the Winblows systems I have in my house, including XP and Vista. Actually, it ran, but the command prompt window never asked me to put the phone in DFU mode, nor did it actually do anything. I just got done using the new Pwnage tonight, and am much happier.

Quickpwn is awesome! Everything went off without a hitch. I elected not to use Quickpwn GUI only because I wanted to keep the standard Apple boot logos.

I now have the latest firmware, themes, and custom ringtones. The only thing I'm missing is an app called "Taskbar Notifier". I did not realize how much I loved that app and how I'm having trouble living without it!
