I'm winning on an Auction for 2 Gigs of ram for my '06 core duo iMac.

Currently has 512 x 2 at 667 mhz

The new ram == 2 x 1024MB at 1066Mhz

Any issues here?

Apparantly 2 Gigs of RAM is the limit, so it will have to do, I'd upgrade it to 4 gigs if I could.

You need 667MHz, the 1066MHz won't work. In fact, it's likely DDR3 while your computer uses DDR2.

Don't try to save few $, just buy from OWC

Oh...really?

I knew it was too cheap to be true, damn.

It kind of makes sense, thanks for the heads up...

You're sure right?

go to crucial and see what specific ram you need. their prices are fair enough or take that info with you ebay.
