A few days ago I installed the iOS 13 beta. I came from 12.4 beta 3. After installation i recovered my apps and settings. At first glance everything worked normal. But after a few hours I got constant reboots. So I rolled back to 12.3.1

But I still want to try 13. Is it necessary to wipe my Xs max first before installing 13? And also no recovery of apps and

And here I’m already back. First spontaneous reboot happened . Strange.
Odd, I haven’t had a single reboot, I’ve had it installed for 3 days now, I used windows 10 and 3uTools to update if that makes a difference.

Adam.

It’s a beta so don’t be too surprised if the springboard relaunches or the device reboots. My 2018 iPP has rebooted a couples of times while using it and just about every night since last week. If this causes you problems you should roll back to 12 and wait a few weeks.

I also used 3utools on win10 . Let’s see if there will be more reboots. Otherwise I will wipe my phone and see if they still happen. Or should I first roll back to 12.3.1, wipe and then upgrade to 13 again?

Off course. You’re right. It’s a beta. But it’s strange that there are lot’s of people without the reboots. Then it’s maybe a setting or app that cause the reboot.

I went from a jailbroken XS Max ios 12.1.1 beta to iOS 13 beta using 3Utools (I Know sounds like a recipe for disaster) but so far no reboots and everything is working smooth. I recovered data so didn't do a clean install.

I noticed several reboots. Sometimes when i want to unlock my phone, face-id doensn't work. But thats only after a reboot.... It had this quite a few times already. And no one else is experiencing that sort of behaviour?

No not here, I’ve not had a single reboot or Face ID issue, I have had my camera fail to open a few times, had to force close it and re open, also my custom ringtone don't work, other than that it’s been rock solid.

Adam.

Earlier today I wanted to try to start from scratch and wiped my phone. After setup I noticed that all my contacts were gone! How is that possible? In settings everything is checked for syncing to iCloud! Is it because I chose not to recover? Not from iCloud or iTunes ?

Check later and see if they showed up. Do you have other Apple devices? If so, check to ensure the contacts are still there.

Back on 12.3.1 for now. And completely wiped my phone. Yesterday evening I had a reboot on this 12.3.1 to! Unbelievable! For now it was only one time.
